The challenge we set before us was to build an alto trombone that would sound full and sonorous, in spite of its small size. AURORA was developed in cooperation with Otmar Gaiswinkler and Wolfgang Pfistermüller of the Vienna Symphoniker. Their expertise had much to do with the development of this model, which sounds so remarkably open and offers an unresricted upper register.
